Enjoy a soothing Matcha Cappuccino during a peaceful morning or a relaxing evening for a calm and a gentle energy boost.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder (highly recommend this one)
2 ounces hot water (not boiling)
6 ounces milk of your choice (dairy or plant-based)
1-2 teaspoons 100% pure maple syrup, honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
Preparation
Prep the Matcha
Sift or froth 1 teaspoon of Matcha powder into about 2 ounces of hot water. Set aside.
This matcha whisk makes sifting the lumps out super easy. A frother like this does the job as well.
Heat and Froth the Milk
Heat 6 ounces of milk, then froth to create a foamy consistency.
Your frother or whisk can be used for this step as well.
Assemble the Matcha Cappuccino
Pour the froth milked into a mug, holding back the foam with a spoon.
Add the Matcha to the mug and stir gently.
Spoon the foam on top of the Matcha milk mixture.
Sweeten it up
Add your 100% pure maple syrup, honey or sweetener of choice.
