Here is my GO-TO morning matcha latte recipe – a simple iced matcha latte that'll start your day with some calm energy and focus. No frills – just pure matcha goodness. Seriously, I make this almost every morning. It is the easiest iced matcha latte recipe ever!
And if you're feeling chilly, there are steps to easily make this a warm matcha latte too.
Ingredients
Splash of Water (about 1/4 cup)
1 teaspoon quality matcha
Sweetener of choice
Ice
Milk of choice
Preparation
Warm it up: Start by heating some water. About 1/4 cup. Boil it, microwave it, however you prefer to warm it! (Personally, on most mornings, I just put a little in the bottom of my glass and microwave it for 1 minute)
Mix it up: Add 1 teaspoon of your matcha (this is my fav) to your hot water cup. Stir it, froth it, or whisk it until there are no lumps.
Sweeten to Taste: Add your sweetener of choice. I use a drop of 100% pure maple syrup.
Over the Rocks: Fill a glass with ice cubes. Now, pour your matcha mixture right over the ice.
Milk: Top it off by pouring in your preferred milk. Almond, oat, or the classic dairy, whatever you prefer!
For a Warm Latte:
Make your matcha, add your sweetener, warm up your milk and combine it all together!
